After spending 45 minutes to blog five photos in blogspot.com, I'm reverting to Picasa method, which allows only four [with option to edit later, given the skill set]! Area Office Gardens was venue for Mormon Media Day [6 August] attended by broadcasting, news, religious dignitaries. After speeches by LDS and Methodist leaders, LDS Charities distributed seven wheel chairs to handicapped children from the Alma School in Johannesburg. Gracious Public Affairs missionaries Elder and Sister Jackson are the impetus behind this successful event. Events designer Sharon poses beside her creation. The last photo shows dessert tray, complete with Lindt chocolate truffle tree [before they melted]. It pleases me to see developing media awareness of LDS Church here in South Africa.
